![]() : One aspect I feel important to emphasise is that this place is not just for kids & I am happy to encourage that even families without children should plan a trip here today! I am not embarrassed to say my husband & I look forward to going here probably even more than my step-son & I will always end up with my hands & fingernails covered in paint having had an absolute ball designing my art work. =We were happy to learn that they have albeit at a new location & the venue is bigger & better than ever! Always high on our family favourites list, the original facility actually burnt down in early 2014 & for while it didn't appear that the owners were going to rebuild. ![]() My husband & I are thrilled to be able to recommend to our fellow travellers the Plaster Fun House located in Mount Pleasant, Ballarat. We are sure that kids of all ages will have a blast, and no matter if you are older, you will experience the fun and wonder of being kids again. Take along your creativity, your eagerness to have fun and 'get your art on'. ![]() We highly recommended a visit to Plaster Fun House Ballarat. There are a number of party rooms as well that for a minimal cost, you are able to rent, each one decorated in a different theme, available for your next children's function. Snacks, as well as coffee/tea and soft drinks are also available for and extra retail price. The staff are very friendly and eager to assist in any way. All paints are included in the cost of the mould, as are use of paint brushes, mixing trays, water pots and smocks and a final glaze for your artwork. We were there for approximately 2 hours (although considerably more time could easily be spent, as my wife has has shown me). There is a minimal cost involved, depending on the type of plaster mould that you choose to paint, but you definitely get as much out of the experience as you put in. Whilst we did not have my 9 year old son with us, the 'big kid' within us both took over and we had a ball. We were absolutely thrilled to find that it has reopened in Mt Pleasant, that we could not resist a visit. We used to take my son to the plaster fun house in the city centre before a fire had forced the business to close. We were looking for something to do, and my wife stumbled across Plaster Fun House. Recently, my wife and I were away for the weekend in Ballarat.
